Computers - draft 1

Computers are playing an important role in our daily life. We use them to control the work of our washing machines, TV sets, DVD players, other electrical appliances, etc. Besides, computers are also used in business, transportation, education, researches and many other fields, for instance, webcan meeting, painting, calculation, and so on. To conclude, in this modern society, if we live without computers, this world would simply be unimaginable.

Personally, I have a liking for computers. First, I can communicate with many people who live around the world. Therefore, getting new information from different countries becomes more and more easy. Second, having leisure time, I enjoy entertainment in the Internet is one way to relax my mind and body such as playing on-line games, reading novels, chatting with my friends, and so on. Third, as I have to hand in my report of academic homework, the computer turns into a crucial tool. All in all, computers are the breath of the twentieth century.

autobiography - draft 2 (part 2)

When I was in elementary school, I was interested in oral reading and speech. Consequently, I took part in lots of contests about that. I was so proud that I got the forth prize in the competition of Tainan city. And I was one of the model students that represented our school (of Tainan’s) in my school. In senior high school, I am a class leader. I have an ability to lead the group. Our teachers do not force us to study because they trust us to do our best on subjects. They always tell us that the most important thing is “attitude”. Attitude is everything, right?

I did not do well on BCT examination two years ago. Therefore, I study harder and harder in every exam in order to do a good job on entrance examination to college. I will make great effort to achieve my ideal – getting into a university of science and technology. In society, having a profession is essential. I plan to major in business management in college in order that I can enter a company and put what I have learned into practice. So all I have to do now is do my best for the purpose of making my dream come true.
